I was born at a very young age as the first child into a family that would one day total seven children.
Growing up in a large family taught me how to eat fast (if I wanted a second helping) as well as a strong work ethic that came from working on the family farm.
Throughout my educational career I developed many marketable and useful skills including unicycling, juggling and umbrella opening in addition to the normal high marks in math and science that go along with my nerd persona.
(I'm not a fan of shoes, as you may note from this photo)
I also developed a love for Star Wars early in life that helped launch my interest in video production.
My first short film was a Star Wars fan film called "Duel of the Lunch" and featured cutting edge special effects and an all-star cast of my nerd friends.
"Adult" and Family Life
In college I met a beautiful woman named Chenell and cleverly convinced her that I was a normal and not nerdy member of society who could care for and provide for her and our future family.
As you can tell in this photo from 2018, I have thoroughly brainwashed her into falling in love with me and even creating 5 miniature copies of myself to continue my legacy of nerdy excellence.
Our four sons (soon to be five in 2021) are the joy of my life. I am truly blessed to be a father of four fine and energetic boys.
My wife is also blessed to live in a house full of boys (at least that's the story we're sticking with for now).
The Rest of the Story
As I have continued to mature and develop my skills and passions I have continued a love of finding joy in everything I do.
Sometimes that means pausing to take a quick photo of myself while jumping in the air. Other times that means helping others find a new or healthier perspective on a project or problem.
I also have been volunteering in the Life.Church children's ministry (LifeKids) since early 2005 as a Konnect emcee.
I have the pleasure of getting to show kids the love of Christ each week through playing, teaching, worship, and listening. LifeKids is the highlight of every weekend.
In conclusion, here are some photos that I feel help display the finer points of my personality and sense of humor. Please enjoy!
